Assessment provides a way to track progress and identify any learning gaps or learning losses. By using digital assessment and instant marking, you’re giving teachers much more than a set of numbers. The increased use of online webinars and training has changed how providers help teachers use their assessments to maximum effect. The rise of digital assessment is particularly important for international schools, as companies are able to better support them in implementing their assessment products and resources.
Early assessment (throughout the year or at the start of a new academic year) is seen as increasingly important for planning – it enables us to see where student learning is not secure and decide what to do. Need to see again. Summative assessment clearly has some role to play, but it doesn’t always have an immediate impact in the classroom. As well as using assessment data at the whole school level, continuous formative assessment allows teachers to track individual progress as well.
Assessment Of Digital Initiatives In The Context Of Data & Analytics
Most schools have high standards of assessment. Teachers, schools and parents want their students to benefit from a structured assessment system, and to reinforce teaching and learning for these outcomes. A good example of this is the Cognitive Ability Test (CAT) widely used in the UK and internationally. Different sets of scores offer a wealth of information about each student’s abilities, which teachers can then use to improve learning outcomes. Consequently, we should see a direct link between the results of an assessment and what happens in the classroom.
